For reasons of stability and maintainability we have moved to a new system of version branches. The C++ source code has been branched at revision 1381, and this is called version 1.0. New development continues on the trunk, while branches receive bug fixes only. We'll be making new branches only when enough new features have accumulated to make it worth while. I anticipate that this will be no more frequent than every three or four months.
