This demonstration program runs on desktop versions of Microsoft Windows (Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000 and NT). It was built on 16th October 2011 using CartoType r1998.

Install the demo by creating a directory with a suitable name such as c:\cartotype on your computer and unzipping cartotype_windows_demo.zip into it. Sample maps of the Isle of Man (with hill shading) and Stockholm are supplied.
The program is a self-contained Windows application.
