For reasons of stability and maintainability we have moved to a new system of version branches. The C++ source code has been branched at revision 1381, and this is called version 1.0. CartoType now runs on the iPhone and Android platforms. Both versions use the standard unchanged C++ source code with wrappers to connect them to the native languages of the platform: Objective C on iPhone and Java on Android.
